KABUL – Afghan Taliban have killed amd injured at least 23 ISIS terroristsnear borders with Pakistan, Afghan Media has reported.

Deadly clashes erupted between Taliban and ISIS Khurasan militants ineastern Kunar province of Afghanistan as the Afghan military confirmed,Khaama Press has reported.

The 201st Silab Corps of the Afghan Military in the East said nine ISISKhurasan militants have been killed so far.

According to a statement released by 201st Silab Corps, at least 9 ISISKhurasan militants have also been killed and 14 others have sustainedinjuries during the clashes.

The statement further added that the clashes continue in Chapa Daradistrict and one Taliban fighter identified as Hezbullah has been killedand another Taliban militant identified as Faqir has sustained injuries.

The 201st Silab Corps in another statement said the Afghan armed forcescarried out strikes against ISIS Khurasan militants using heavy and lightweaponry to protect the lives and properties of local residents.
