In worst act of barbarianism, Indian soldiers martyr 7 more Kashmiris in fake operations

ISLAMABAD – In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in a fresh massacre havemartyred seven Kashmiris including a twelve-year-old boy, Atif Mir, inBandipora, Baramulla and Shopian districts since yesterday.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the troops martyred these Kashmirisduring violent cordon and search operations in Hajin, Kalantra and Gadaporaareas.

Several people were injured in Ratnipora area of Shopian, today, afterIndian forces’ personnel fired bullets, pellets and teargas shells ondemonstrations against the killing of the youth.

Meanwhile, the occupation authorities imposed restrictions in downtownSrinagar to prevent people from staging anti-India demonstrations. TheJoint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooqand Muhammad Yasin Malik had called for the demonstrations after Jumaprayers against the custodial killing of a school principal, Rizwan Asad.Juma prayers could not be held at Srinagar’s historic Jamia Masjid due tothe restrictions.

On the other hand, Hurriyat leaders, Mir Shahid Saleem, Imtiaz Reshi andKhawaja Firdous, in their statements greeted the people and government ofPakistan on the eve of Pakistan Day, the 23rd March, being observedtomorrow.

People staged forceful demonstrations in Tral area of Pulwama districtagainst the illegal arrest of more than a dozen youth from various areas byIndian police and troops.
