ISLAMABAD – Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing has said that the visitof Prime Minister Imran Khan to China next week would further enhance thebilateral cooperation in China Pakistan Economic Corridor projects.
Addressing a book launching ceremony in Islamabad today (Wednesday), hesaid that CPEC is now being opened for investors from around the world.
The Ambassador said during the visit, a number of Memoranda ofUnderstanding would be signed for initiating new projects of social sectorunder the CPEC.
He said hundreds of vocational centers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa andBalochistan are being upgraded to prepare skilled labour to fulfill thegrowing need in the upcoming CPEC projects.
The Chinese envoy said as many as eight companies are working jointly withthe Pakistani companies in the flagship project of Chinese grand Belt andRoad Initiative.
Speaking on this occasion, Chairman Pakistan-China Institute SenatorMushahid Hussain Syed said that CPEC has helped Pakistan becoming hub ofregional connectivity and after completion of the mega project, the countrywould set on the path of rapid development.
