Pakistani Air Force pilots being trained on Rafale fighter jets in Qatar?

*ISLAMABAD – French Ambassador to India has denied reports that Pakistanipilots were being trained to fly Rafale fighter jets under an exchangeprogramme with Qatar.*

“I can confirm that it is fake news,” tweeted French Ambassador to IndiaAlexan Ziegler.

Rezaul Hasan Laskar, a senior Indian journalist, had tweeted a news story,claiming that “the first lot of pilots trained for Qatar in France arePakistani exchange officers.”

Qatar had placed two separate orders for 36 Rafale jets. The first of theaircraft was delivered in February. The Indian government has also signed adeal with the French plane maker to buy a fighter aircraft.

The delivery of Rafale for India was expected to start by September, HindustanTimeslink reported.
