*SRINAGAR – Occupied Kashmir former chief minister Farooq Abdullah saidthat the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi government is lying to thenation on the Balakot air strike and shooting down of a Pakistani F-16.*
Farooq Abdullah, who is contesting the Lok Sabha elections from theSrinagar constituency, said that the BJP government lied to the nation onthe air strike as it had failed in delivering on his promises made duringthe last general elections.
“Some people said 300 were killed. Here if one person is killed, the wholeworld comes to know. Would no one know if 300 were killed?” he questioned.
“Modi said we shot down Pakistan’s fighter plane F-16. Now, the US has comeup saying all the Pakistani F-16s are counted. Not one has been shot down.There must be some basis for even lies, Modi ji. How long will you lie topeople? And did you win (the battle)? Has Pakistan disappeared? Why are youlying?” he queried.
