ISLAMABAD – Pakistan and Indonesia has decided to reactivate the JointEconomic Commission established in 2003.
This was initiated during a meeting between Foreign Minister Shah MehmoodQureshi and his Indonesian Counterpart Retno Marsudi on the sideline of OICForeign Ministers’ Council’s meeting in Makkah today (Wednesday).
They also discussed the regional and global issues during the meeting.
Pakistan Foreign Minister said that Islamabad considers Indonesia as animportance regional country and Islamabad wants to further promotebilateral cooperation in multidimensional sectors.
Both leaders agreed bilateral cooperation in defence, agriculture,Technology and education sectors.
The Indonesian Foreign Minister said that his country will provide allpossible assistance to promote bilateral cooperation in multidimensionalsectors between the two countries.
