MIRANSHAH – Security forces on Sunday arrested Pashtun Tahafuz Movement(PTM) leader Mohsin Dawar and his supporters for allegedly opened fire atan Army check-post in North Waziristan’s Miran Shah.
“The disgruntled PTM protesters first chanted slogans against the soldiersdeputed at the security checkpoint, and, then later opened fire at thesoldiers, reported local media.
Dawar, who is also a Member National Assembly (MNA) was present in theDitta Khel area when the clash erupted between forces and the miscreants.
The PTM armed supporters were continuously provoking the locals against theArmy and raising anti-army slogans before they opened fire at the securitypersonnel deputed at the check posts in the area.

Earlier, on May 6, a first information report (FIR) was registered againstmembers of Pashtun Tahafuz Movement’s (PTM) central committee including MNAAli Wazir in North Waziristan.
