Pakistan gives a humiliating blow to India at the diplomatic front

*BEIJING – **Pakistan gives a humiliating blow to India at the diplomaticfront during FATF session in China.*

*In the in Financial Action Task Force (FATF) talks, India faced anotherhumiliation being held in China after Pakistani delegation gave befittingreply on Indian allegations.*

A twelve member Pakistani delegation led by secretary finance Younis Dhagaattended the FATF meeting in China. Pakistan apprised FATF of its actionsagainst terrorism and submitted its plan to curb currency smuggling byincreasing security checks on inner and outer roots.

The delegation also told FATF about the reforms being introduced in Madarisand about action taken against proscribed organizations. Younis Dhaga toldthe meeting that Pakistan has put banned organizations in high risk listand their assets were freezed.

The meeting was attended by delegations of USA, China, India, Germany, UK,Australia, Malaysia and Turkey.

The Indian co chairman of FATF raised unnecessary questions to whichPakistan answered wisely.

Earlier, Pakistan has expressed its deep concern over the statement made byIndian Finance Minister Arun Jaitley about India’s intention to havePakistan downgraded on the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) list.

In a statement, the Foreign Office said Indian account re-confirmsPakistan’s longstanding concerns that this technical forum is beingpoliticized by India against Pakistan.

It said India has made several efforts in the past as well to politicizethe proceedings at Financial Action Task Force.

Prior to meeting in February this year, India circulated its own assessmentof Pakistan’s progress and solicited immediate support for blacklisting thecountry.
