CPEC Phase II to greatly enhance Pakistan’s export capacity

ISLAMABAD – Chineselinkin Pakistan link Yao Jing on Friday saidthat under second phase of China Pakistan Economic Corridorlink(CPEClink),promotion of business link to business linkrelationshipfor technological and industrial development in order to augment Pakistanlink capacity toexport was a priority area for the Chineselinklink.

He was speaking to Federallink Ministerfor Economic Affairs Muhammad Hammad Azhar here at the minister’s office,said a press release.

The envoy congratulated Hammad Azhar on his elevation as Federal Minister.

The Ambassador reiterated commitment of his governmentlink to the strategicrelationship with Pakistanlink and hoped thatappointment of Federal Minister for Economic Affairs will furtherstrengthen relationship between the two countries.

The Ambassador updated the minister on the progresslink made on account ofimplementation of CPEClinkrelatedprojects.

The envoy stated that in the second phase socio-economic sector projects,with grant financing for direct benefit of common manlink were also priorityareas.

The minister stated that the CPEClinkisa flagship programme of Belt and Roadlink which is nowentering into a new phase.
