ISLAMABAD – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi while addressing to mediain Kohala, Azad Kashmir today said Prime Minister Imran Khan will addressthe Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly on 14th August to expresssolidarity with Kashmiris.
He said government of Pakistan has announced to observe Independence Day asa Day of Solidarity with Kashmiris.
Foreign Minister said Kashmir is an internationally recognized issue, andit is high time for international community to play their role to resolvethe issue.
Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that Pakistanwill take up illegal annexation of occupied Jammu and Kashmir by India atthe United Nations Security Council.
Talking to Azad Kashmir’s Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider in Muzaffarabadon Sunday, he said he has arrived in Azad Kashmir to express solidaritywith Kashmiri brethren.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said we are in contact with the world leadership andinternational media is showing concerns over grave human rights violationsin occupied valley.
Speaking on the occasion AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider said it’sfor the first time that a foreign Minister has arrived in AJK to celebrateeid with Kashmiris.
