According to international news agencies, a small plane taking off from the Rio Branco city airport crashed in the Amazon jungles of Acre, resulting in the deaths of 12 individuals, including a child.

According to global news agencies, individuals who were enthusiasts of fishing were on board this chartered plane to participate in a competition when the accident occurred.
