Mattis calls for Yemen ceasefire, peace talks within next 30 days

US Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis has called for a ceasefire in Yemen, demanding warring parties to come to the negotiating table within the next 30 days.
In his remarks at the US Institute of Peace, he said the United States believes that both Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates would express willingness for holding talks.
Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in a statement said the time is now for the cessation of hostilities in the war-plagued country.
