ISLAMABAD: The Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU) remained close today after students continued their protest in favor of their demands.
The roads leading towards the varsity have been closed and shuttle service has also been suspended.
The educational activities were suspended again in the Quaid-e-Azam University on Monday (yesterday) due to the protest of students.
The disgruntled students said that they would continue the strike till restoration of the expelled students.
The university administration had expelled some students for their alleged involvement in a scuffle between two students associations in the varsity.
The protesting students also asked the varsity’s management to withdraw a fee hike.
They also complained that the varsity hostel lacks facilities and that they are provided poor meals. They also demanded to that an inquiry report into the alleged corruption of the Quaid-e-Azam University vice-chancellor should be made public.
