‘N’ rejects ‘minus Nawaz’ formula
LONDON: The top notch of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has on Monday said that the ‘minus Nawaz’ formula is not acceptable at any cost.
Talking to media in London after an important meeting of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) to review party’s future strategy, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif is and will remain the party president.
He expressed his reservations over the trail of his brother. “Fair trial is Nawaz Sharif’s just demand,” the Punjab chief minister said.
Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that Nawaz Sharif would return to the country and face trial.
He said that they have given a clear message to those talking about grouping in the party, adding that the party is united in the leadership of the former premier.
