KPEC dismisses corruption petition against PTI MNA Gulalai

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ehtesab Commission on Monday dismissed a petition against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf MNA Ayesha Gulalai, saying the commission only probes corruption cases of over Rs5 million.
The commission said that Gulalai has accusations of misappropriation of only Rs1.2 million against her.
The corruption petition was filed by her PA Noor Zaman who was killed last night at his village on August 8, seeking inquiry against Gulalai.
Noor Zaman had claimed that Gulalai embezzled funds in construction of Bannu Link Road-Saddakhel Road.
It is to mention here that Election Commission of Pakistan had also dismissed a disqualification from assembly membership petition against Ayesha Gulalai, which was filed by PTI chairman Imran Khan after she leveled allegations against him (IK).
