LAHORE: Pervaiz Rashid, the former Minister of Information and Broadcasting has given his first statement after tendering his resignation.

He said that he will reveal the true story and the real reasons of his resignation at an appropriate time.
Former Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid said that he will reveal the reason behind his resignation ‘when the time is right’.
According to local news channel, after leaving his ministry, Rashid said that he was identified as a political worker, not a minister and that the larger interest of Pakistan demanded a sacrifice.

“The leadership gave me the ministry. It doesn’t matter if they took it back,” he said.
“I am still an active worker of Muslim League”, he said, “I have no regrets and my resignation’s reason will be known at a suitable time.”
