Progress can't be achieved without women folk in national stream: Governor

ISLAMABAD:Punjab Governor Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana has said that dream of progress and prosperity cannot be fulfilled without bringing the women folk into the national mainstream.
He was addressing the inaugural ceremony of Punjab Gender Equality Report in Lahore today.
He said that Punjab Government has taken exemplary measures for the protection of women rights, for empowering them by bringing amendments in concerned laws.
In her address, Punjab Finance Minister, Dr. Ayesha Ghaus Pasha appreciated the efforts of Punjab Commission for Women Rights for enforcing the measures of women's rights.
