Video Link Budget : Rs 1675 billion developmental budget approved by PM

ISLAMABAD: National Economic Council meeting under the chairmanship of PM Nawaz has approved Rs. 1675 billion developmental budget for the next fiscal year.
As per details, National Economic Council meeting was presided by PM Nawaz via video link from London while all four provinces Chief Ministers and CM Gilgit Baltistan also participated in the meeting.
NEC meeting was briefed by Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal over the developmental projects after that developmental budget was approved. Rs. 800 billion has been reserved for federation while Rs. 875 billion would be reserved for developmental funds of provinces.
Addressing the meeting, PM Nawaz said that he was unable to attend the meeting due to his poor health condition but God Willing he would soon be among nation to perform his duty with the same spirit.
He further added that PML-N government has put country on the path of successes and now Pakistan is moving towards being an economic power while GDP remains at 4.71 % which is the highest rate in last 8 years.
He lauded the efforts of Ishaq Dar and Ahsan Iqbal to improve the economic condition of Pakistan adding that economic progress would further grow with the completion of CPEC project.
Tremendous successes have been achieved by government during last three years while he is foreseeing a very bright future of Pakistan, PM stated.
During the meeting, Chief Ministers of all provinces and federal ministers inquired about the health of PM Nawaz and offered prayer for his early recovery.
