NAB funds blocked by Finance Ministry: Report

ISLAMABAD – The Finance Ministry has blocked the funds of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
The move has put the salaries of the employees and officers in danger, media report has surfaced.
After the blockage of reward and recovery, repair of vehicles and marriage grant, the Finance Ministry has also stopped the NAB’s hardship allowance.
The ministry pays two percent of the recoveries to the NAB.
Meanwhile, the government has decided to stop the allowances of the employees in the coming budget. Sources said that a consultative summary has been prepared in this regard.
