Pakistan to introduce electrical vehicles for controlling pollution

ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister's Adivsor on Climate Change, Malik Amin Aslam has said that the government is taking serious measures for permanent solution of smog issue.
Addressing a news conference in Lahore on Monday, he said that due to government's measures, the smog issue in Lahore has been mitigated.
He said that talks have been held with brick-kiln owners to control the pollution issue.
Malik Amin Aslam said that ten thousand brick kilns will be uprgraded with World Bank's cooperation.
The Advisor said notices have been issued to more than three thousand steel mills while have been cases registered against more than six hundred persons, who burnt their crops.
He said that electrical vehicles will be introduced to control air pollution.
