7 SBCA officers suspended on corruption charges

KARACHI: In an effort to combat corruption inside the organisation, the Director General (DG) of Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) suspended seven officers.
Seven officers and staff were put on administrative leave by the DG SBCA for allegedly participating in corruption allegations.
Assistant Directors, Senior Building Inspectors, and Inspectors are among those who have been suspended and are being looked into.
According to the notification, Riaz Hussain and Assistant Director Rashid A Narejo are two of the most well-known suspects, and Shahryar Maqsood, Abdul Sami Sheikh, and Aasif Sheikh are all suspended officers.
Additionally, Kamran Hussain, Muhammad Yaqoob, and the Building Inspector are among those who are temporarily suspended from their jobs.
