CPEC Seminar in Gilgit - Baltistan

ISLAMABAD (APP): Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms Ahsan Iqbal here on Wednesday said that no power can damage the mega project of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

He said this while inaugurating a two-day seminar on CPEC in Gilgit and congratulated the organizers for arranging such an important event.

Ahsan Iqbal said that all the opposition parties are on the same page and have appreciated the work of government regarding CPEC.

He said that the chief ministers of four provinces are supporting the federal government due to the various projects in progress in their respective provinces.

"There is no threat to CPEC as 200 million people of the country are the owner of this project," he added.

Ahsan stressed the need for setting up national goals for the socio economic development of the country.

He said that the multi billion dollars mega project of CPEC would change the fate of entire region and it would open avenues of economic development and prosperity.
