ISLAMABAD: Russian President Vladimir Putin and other world leaders wished PM Nawaz Sharif for a speedy recovery ahead of his open heart surgery.

Putin conveyed his “heartfelt sympathy as well as wishes for speedy recovery.”

Afghan President Ashraf Ghani also wished premier with best wishes.

Ghani said in a message “I would like to send my best wishes to  Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family. Hope the surgery goes all right. We pray for his speedy recuperation.”

Foreign Office claimed that world leaders conveyed their sympathy and prayed for the speedy recovery of premier from his open heart surgery.

PM Nawaz Sharif has stayed in London and will undergo an open heart surgery today.

Sources claimed that PM Nawaz will stay in the hospital for a week after the surgery.
