ISLAMABAD – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says Pakistan willcontinue supporting peace efforts in Afghanistan as a joint responsibility.
Talking to US Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation ZalmayKhalilzad in Islamabad on Friday, he said a peace agreement between theUnited States and the Taliban will pave the way for intra-Afghan dialogue,which will prove useful for peace and stability not only in Afghanistan butthe entire region.
The two sides agreed to continue consultation to make joint efforts forAfghan peace process.
