In Karachi, the Chairman of the PCB Management Committee, Zakaa Ashraf, has proposed the Gandhi-Jinnah Series to the Indian board. Speaking on ARY News program 'Bouncer,' Zakaa Ashraf, the Chairman of the PCB Management Committee, conveyed the suggestion for the Gandhi-Jinnah Series to the Indian board.
During the conversation, he emphasized that there is no greater cricket rivalry than that between Pakistan and India, and both countries should strive to enhance their cricketing relations. He stated that Pakistan and India must work together to improve their cricketing ties, as there is no contest greater than that between their cricket teams.
Zakaa Ashraf also questioned why, when teams from Australia and England have visited Pakistan, the Indian team has not. He urged for India to come and play in Pakistan, highlighting the importance of strengthening bilateral cricketing ties.
Furthermore, Zakaa Ashraf noted that Pakistan possesses a pool of talented players, including stars like Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Afridi, who have excelled in international cricket and performed well even in warm-up matches. This highlights the depth of talent within Pakistan's cricketing ranks.
