Inflation in Pakistan increases further despite measures by government

The National Statistical Agency has released weekly inflation figures.According to the statistics agency, the current week's overall inflation rate stands at 37.33%, with an increase in the prices of 14 items and a decrease in the prices of 14 items in a week, while the prices of 23 items remained stable.
The report mentions that in one week, the price per kilogram of onions increased by Rs. 17.63, while garlic saw an increase of Rs. 21.58 per kilogram.
According to the statistics agency, items like yogurt, mung beans, firewood, milk, and cheese have become more expensive in one week.
