Former South African fast bowler Dale Steyn recently shared his enthusiasm for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 and revealed his top five favorite bowlers to watch in the upcoming mega tournament.
In a video released by ICC, Steyn mentioned that he is eagerly looking forward to seeing India's Mohammed Siraj, South Africa's Kagiso Rabada, Pakistan's Shaheen Shah Afridi, New Zealand's Trent Boult, and England's Mark Wood in action during the tournament.
Steyn specifically highlighted his anticipation for an exciting showdown when Shaheen Shah Afridi faces off against Rohit Sharma, describing Afridi's bowling as a captivating spectacle. "Shaheen Shah Afridi's bowling will be a remarkable sight, especially when he takes on Rohit Sharma," Steyn commented.
He expressed his belief that Mark Wood, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Trent Boult, Mohammed Siraj, and Rabada are all expected to shine in the World Cup with their exceptional performances.
