Speaking with a private TV channel, Zaka Ashraf acknowledged that Babar Azam is undeniably a top-tier and star cricketer. However, he emphasized that they would consult experts on match results after the World Cup and then determine the best course of action for Pakistan cricket.
Regarding concerns about the constant criticism by former cricketers during the World Cup, Zaka Ashraf expressed his worry, noting that it is affecting the morale of the national cricketers.
He urged former players to maintain a positive attitude throughout the World Cup and suggested that they openly critique and pinpoint mistakes after the tournament to facilitate improvements in the future.
