Pakistan sets target of 282 for Zimbabwe in first ODI

Rawalpindi: Pakistan has set a target of 282 runs for visiting team of Zimbabwe in first one-day of three match series being played in Rawalpindi.

Imamul Haq and Abid Ali shared an inning of 47 runs before the latter was sent to pavilion at 21 runs. Haq made 58 runs.

Pakistan captain Babar Azam could not perform well as he was in hurry to go back to pavilion just at 19 runs. Pakistan had lost three wickets for 119 runs.

Harris Sohail managed to bring the team out of pressure by thrashing 71 runs. Afterwards, Imad Wasim and Faheem Ashraf also played aggressively, taking total score to 281.

Earlier today, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first against Zimbabwe.
