Terrorist involved in anti state activities surrendered before Police

HYDERABAD: A terrorist who involved in over 16 cases of heinous crimes including bomb blasts and belonged to a proscribed organisation, has surrendered himself before the Police here at the Police Headquarters.

Terrorist Ghulam Shabbir Mallah a die-hard activist and General Secretary of proscribed Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz (JSMM) appeared before the DIG Hyderabad Range Naim Ahmed Shaikh at Police Headquarters Hyderabad and announced surrendering himself.

Talking to media persons on the occasion, Ghulam Shabbir Mallah confessed that he along with party chairman Shafi Muhammad Burfat, Muzaffar Bhutto, Imran Leghari, Asghar Shah and Ghulam Nabi Shar got training of weapon shooting and bomb making in Afghanistan in the year 2004 and later came back and committed blasts on railway tracks, gas pipelines, power transformers and other acts of heinous crimes.

Ghulam Shabbir Mallah further confessed before media that he committed all terrorist activities on the advice of JSSM Chairman Shafi Muhammad Burfat who being an Indian agent also launched Anti-Pakistan propaganda on social media.

Giving reason of surrendering him before the Police, Ghulam Shabbir Mallah said that he become fed up committing these heinous crimes and wanted to live a peaceful life therefore he surrendered himself.
The DIG Hyderabad Naim Ahmed Shaikh said because of the effective intelligence network, the Police had tightened the rope against terrorists particularly the JSMM activists. The other activists can also follow Ghulam Shabbir Mallah and surrender after denouncing Anti-Pakistan activities, he said and maintained that the encircling of terrorist and anti-state activists would continue in the region.

Ghulam Shabbir Mallah is involved in over 16 cases of heinous crimes in different parts of Sindh and further investigation against him is underway, the DIG informed.
Among others, SSP Hyderabad Sarfraz Nawaz and SP CIA Aslam Langah were also present on the occasion.
