Provincial government donated Rs.3 lakh to acid attack victims in Quetta

QUETTA: Provincial Minister for Health Naseebullah Marri, Home Minister Muhammad Saleem Khosa and MPA Ms. Bushra Rind visited Bolan Medical Complex (BMC) Hospital Quetta and presented a draft of Rs.3 lakh to acid attack victims on the behalf of the Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal.

Provincial ministers visited BMC to meet a woman and her daughter who suffered severe burn injuries when two unidentified men riding a motorcycle threw acid on them and fled.

Provincial Health Minister Naseebullah Marri strongly condemned the acid attack as he visited the BMC to inquire after the victims.

“Perpetrators of the acid attack will not be spared,” he said, vowing strict action against the culprits.
Marri directed the BMC administration to provide quality treatment to the acid victims, adding that the provincial government would bear treatment expenditures for the two victims.

Medical Superintendent of the BMC hospital Dr. fahim Khan and Burn Unit doctors briefed the provincial ministers about the medical facilities provided to the victims of the acid attack at BMC hospital.
