PC-1 for establishment of Regional Languages Academy GB approved

GILGIT: Chief Secretary (CS) Gilgit Baltistan, Dr Kazim Agha here on Monday approved preparation ofPC-1 for establishment of regional languages academy to encourage andpromote regional languages, literature and art work in the province.
The approval was given during a high-level meeting with CS GB in the chair.
The meeting deliberated on differentproposals, suggestions and recommendations regarding establishment of the proposedacademy and has devised guidelines for it.
He said building of the academy would be constructed in Gilgit city, directing the authoritiesconcerned to submit its PC-I within a month.
He directed starting of academy's work in other alternative building till completion of its ownbuilding for people’s benefits.
The CS appreciated the efforts of Secretary Tourism and his literary team for their untiringeffort for the proposed academy.
The academy would help promote heritage, art and regional languages besides architecture andliterature of GB.
