PML-N Leader shot dead by unknown assailants

On Thursday, Ayaz Khan, a local leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), was fatally shot in a firing incident in Mardan district, as reported by ARY News citing the police.
The attack, carried out by unknown assailants on Wednesday night in the Mausam Korana area of Mardan, resulted in the PML-N leader's death. Police have initiated an investigation and are actively searching for the perpetrators.
In a separate incident in October, a member of the Awami National Party (ANP) provincial council, Javed Khan, was shot dead by two unidentified motorcyclists.
The preliminary investigation indicated that the ANP leader was shot at close range by the assailants who approached him and opened fire.
