Sindh govt to prevent underage marriages, domestic violence: Shehla

Provincial Minister for Women Development Syeda Shehla Raza has said that Sindh government framed a number of laws to prevent the underage marriages and domestic violence.

She was speaking at a ceremony to distribute awards among girls who have completed sports trainings.

The minister said her ministry started career counseling service for girls of intermediate level throughout the province to keep them aware about different women related diseases including breast cancer.

She said department of women development started a campaign 'friends of women development' which will guide the girls studying and working in schools, colleges and working places.

She added many women complexes have been established in the province to provide protection and relief to homeless women.
