Establishment Division notifies transfers, postings of senior officials

ISLAMABAD: The Establishment Division on Wednesday issued various notices for appointments and transfers of senior officers to different ministries and divisions.According to a notification issued here, the transfer and posting orders of Additional Secretary, Industries and Production, Dr Jamal Yousaf, has been withdrawn abinitio.
An earlier notification had stated that, Dr Jamal, a BS-21 officer was transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, Industries and Production Division.Another notification said that the Prime Minister, while reviewing his earlier order has assigned the charge of the post of Secretary, Industries and Production Division to Mohammad Jalal Sikandar Sultan (PAS/BS-21), Additional Secretary (Incharge), Petroleum Division, in addition to his own duties.
He will be looking after the affairs of Industries and Production Division during the period Maroof Afzal (PAS)/BS-22) will remain abroad i.e. 25-11-2017 to 4-12-2017.
A separate notice stated that Dr Jamal, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Services, presently posted as Additional Secretary IPC Division is transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, Information Technology and Telecommunication Division.
The Establishment Division withdrew it earlier notification, whereby Jamal Nasir was posted as Additional Secretary, Capital Administration and Development Division.According to another notification, Muhammad Ashraf, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Services, presently waiting posting in Establishment Division, is transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, Inter Provincial Coordination (IPC) Division.
Meanwhile, Touqeer Ahmed Khan, a BS-17 Postal Group officer, presently serving as Section Officer on deputation in Ministry of Postal Services has been repatriated to his parent department, Directorate General of Postal Services.
