PM Nawaz Sharif meets his British counterpart David Cameron in Malta

MALTA: Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif and his British counterpart David Cameron meets on Friday and both agreed to continue close collaboration particularly in trade, investment and security. Both leaders, who met on the sidelines of Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in the Maltese Capital, expressed commitment to work together for greater security for their countries. They reaffirmed their commitment to work in partnership for countering the shared threats of terrorism, organized crime and illegal migration. Nawaz Sharif said Pakistan considers United Kingdom a close friend and a trusted partner. Both Prime Ministers condemned terrorism in all it forms and was deeply saddened by the recent terrorist attacks in Paris. Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan itself being victim of terrorism could feel tha pain of French people. He mentioned that Operation Zarb-e-Azb was nearing its successful completion after hitting hard on terrorists at the Pakistani soil. Reference: dailymail.co
