FIR registered against 10 MQM leaders for holding illegal rally in city

KARACHI: Karachi police has registered FIR against 10 MQM leaders for leading illegal Rally in the city. MQM has violated the loudspeaker act and created hurdle for the passengers. As per police sources, MQM held the protest rally without any permission. Cases have been registered due to violation of loudspeaker act and blocking the main route of the city. Police registered cases against Farooq Sattar, Wasim Akhtar, Haider Abbas Rizvi, Wasay Jalil, Faisal Sabzwari, Kanwar Naveed Jamil, Muhammad Hussain, Nasreen Jalil, Kamal Pasha, Khalid and several others at the Soldier Bazar police station. According to SP Jamshed Town Dr. Fahad Ahmed, cases have been filed against MQM leaders because of harassing the citizens, blocking the roads and violating the loudspeaker act and section 144 of the Pakistan Penal Code PPC. However, MQM leader Wasay Jaleel said in his tweet message that police also has registered case against him even though he is in London.
