ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court has asked Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairperson Imran Khan which took place first, the creation of Niazi Services Limited or purchase of the London flat.
The court has asked the question in a notice issued over a miscellaneous request filed by Hanif Abbasi.
During a hearing in the case on Tuesday, the chief justice asked Imran’s lawyer Naeem Bokhari to clarify where the money to buy the Bani Gala property had come from.
The chief justice told Bokhari he will have to prove the source of money as failure to do so will have its consequences.
