NAB files two corruption references, seven inquiries

National Accountability Bureau has decided to file two corruption references, two Investigations and seven inquiries against accused who involved in corrupt practices, illegal appointments and other allegations.

This decision was taken in a meeting of Executive Board held in Islamabad on Tuesday with Chairman NAB Qamar Zaman Chaudhry in the chair.

The meeting also approved Plea Bargain of over 32 million rupees requested by two companies.

Addressing the meeting Chairman said that NAB is committed to eradicate corruption by adopting Zero Tolerance Policy.

He directed all officers/officials of NAB to put in their best efforts in conduct of complaint verifications, inquiries and investigations against corrupt in accordance with law, transparently and on merit.
