Chinese National injured in roadside blast in Karachi

KARACHI: Three people were injured including two Chinese national here at today in morning in a roadside blast near Gulshan-e-Hadeed area of Karachi.
As per details, Police and Law enforcement agencies rushed to the scene and cordoned off the area while injured were shifted to nearby hospital by rescue teams for medical treatment.
An Improvised explosive device was planted near a road at Gulshan-e-Hadeed that blew up when a vehicle carrying three people including Chinese citizen was passing from there.
The vehicle was hit by remote controlled blast as a result three people sustained injuries. Chinese citizen and driver of vehicle were identified as Fan Chi and Haider respectively.
Bomb Disposal Squad said that around half kg explosive material had been used in the blast.
SSP Rao Anwar revealed that police also found a threat letter of nationalist group on the site of the blast while police has started search operation in the area to trace culprits.
