US Consul General visits Baba Bulleh Shah shrine

LAHORE: (APP) The U.S. Consul General Lahore Zachary Harkenrider visited the shrine of Hazrat Baba Bulleh Shah in Kasur, on Thursday.
According to a spokesperson of the US consulate, the Consul General was welcomed by prominent historian Dr. Kanwal Khalid and was given a guided tour of the shrine.
Zachary Harkenrider also enjoyed a performance by local 'Qawwals' at the shrine.
The Consul General's visit to Kasur serves to advance shared interests in the cultural sector across Pakistan and to underscore US's respect for the country's cultural and religious heritage, the spokesperson added.
