Punjab govt to introduce DVRS for registration of vehicles

MULTAN: (APP) The Punjab government is going to introduce Dealer Vehicle Registration System (DVRS) for registration of vehicles which would start from Lahore, Multan and Faisalabad.
Senior Member of CM Punjab Special Monitoring Unit Salman Sufi expressed these views while talking to car and motorcycle dealers here on Thursday.
He said unregistered and without number plate vehicles could not play on roads. He added strict action would also be taken agaisnt owners of vehicles for using fake number plates.
Later, RPO Sultan Azam Taimrooi called on Salman Sufi at the Circuit House and discussed about appointment of police officials at the Women Crisis Centre.
He also visited the under construction building of the Women Crisis Centre and directed the administration to complete the work within fixed time.
