ISLAMABAD: (APP) APHC leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir National Front (JKNF), Nayeem Ahmed Khan, has demanded release of all illegally detained Kashmiris before Eid-ul-Fitr in Indian occupied Kashmir (IHK).

According to Kashmir Media Service (KMS), Nayeem Ahmed Khan in a statement in Srinagar said that hundreds of Kashmiris, who were languishing in different jails because of their particular political ideology, were facing tough times."

"The Kashmiri prisoners are scripting a new history of resistance by exhibiting steadfastness and patience. The whole Kashmiri nation is heavily indebted to those who have been put behind bars for demanding their right to self-determination," he said.

Nayeem Khan pointed out that India had tried its every weapon including arrest to silence the voices of dissent in occupied Kashmir but miserably failed in its nefarious designs.

He demanded shifting of the Kashmiri detainees lodged in different Indian jails like Tihar and Rajasthan to the prisons of the Kashmir Valley.

He also paid glowing tributes to the youth, Sameer Ahmad, who was martyred by Indian troops in Kupwara.
