IHC Justice Shaukat Siddiqui gets a blow from SJC

ISLAMABAD - The Supreme Judicial Council has desposed of the petition filed by Islamabad High Court Judge Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui for providing records of previous 7 years relating to his case.
His case has been adjourned till Tuesday.
The reference is being heard by five-member Supreme Judicial Council headed by Chief Justice Saqib Nisar. It includes judges of Supreme Court and chief justices of Sindh and Balochistan high courts.
In his remarks, the chief justice said the reference against Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui will be disposed of in three days. He said he wants to dispose of all references against superior judiciary before retirement.
