Pakistan strongly condemns terrorist attack in Kabul

Pakistan has strongly condemned the terrorist attack at the Military Academy in Kabul on Monday.

In a statement, Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal extended sincere condolences at the loss of precious human lives in the attack.

He said Pakistanis feel the intense pain and agony of our Afghan brothers and sisters.

Reiterating Pakistan's condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, Dr Faisal said Pakistan emphasizes the need for concerted efforts and effective cooperation among all states to eradicate the scourge of terrorism.

He said our resolve against the menace is clearly enunciated in the decree "Paigham-e-Pakistan" issued unanimously by more than 1800 Pakistani religious scholars of all schools of thought stipulating that no cause or ends justify acts of terrorism and condemning suicide bombings.
