Sharjeel Khan banned for 5 years over PSL spot fixing

LAHORE: Pakistan Opener Sharjeel Khan has been banned for five years for his involvement in fixing of a Pakistan Super League (PSL) match.
Out of five years, he will remain suspended for two-and-a-half year during which the cricket authorities will monitor his conduct.
A three-man tribunal headed by Justice (retired) Asghar Haider announced the verdict in the case about his role in the spot fixing.
Sharjeel Khan was banned for five breaches of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s Anti-Corruption Code.
