Indian Sikhs stand with their Kashmiri brothers in IOK

ISLAMABAD (APP): Sikh Intellectuals Circle while condemning the use of brute force on protesters has said that Sikh community supports the Kashmiris' inalienable right of self- determination.
Representatives of a number of Sikh organisations staged a peaceful protest at Press Enclave in Held Srinagar and expressed their support to the ongoing Kashmir struggle.The protest was led by Narinder Singh Khalsa, KMS reported.
The protesters expressed solidarity with the ongoing Kashmir movement and pitched for resolution of the Kashmir dispute through political dialogue.
Narinder Singh Khalsa said that Sikh community fully endorsed the peaceful political protest calendar initiated by the joint Hurriyet leadership of Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik. He said that mass uprising in occupied Kashmir could not be suppressed through the use of brute force.
While condemning the killing spree in occupied Kashmir, excessive use of pellet guns, ransacking of houses by Indian armed forces, Narender Singh Khalsa appealed to the world community, UN and human rights organisations to take serious note of state-sponsored brutality against protesters.
He also strongly condemned the desecration of Gurudwara Sahib in Islamabad district by Indian forces and also appealed to the Sikh community worldwide to render all sorts of humanitarian help and moral support to the people of Jammu and Kashmir at this critical juncture.
