ISLAMABAD: (APP) Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Monday said six women arrested for involvement in violence and attack on media houses in Karachi.
The investigation was underway regarding the strike on media channels and cases had been registered against anti-state elements involved in the attacks on media houses, he said talking to a private news channel.
He said that action would be taken against those who had attacked the media houses and used derogatory language against the country.
The chief minister said,"We do not want to eliminate any political party but they should separate criminals and terrorists elements from their parties."
Murad Shah said the provincial government had demolished illegal offices of MQM and one PPP office as well.
He directed the concerned authorities to demolish all encroachments in the province.
Replying to a question, he said the government would take every step to protect the lives and property of the people of Sindh.
He said National Action Plan (NAP) was implemented in the province with full devotion and determination. Law and order situation was a issue of whole country and underlined need for collective measures to improve it.
He said the peace had been restored in Karachi to a great extend due to targeted operation in the mega city.
He was determined to completely eliminate terrorism from the province, he added.
