Pakistan Turkmenistan take important decision over transnational TAP gas pipeline

ISLAMABAD - An energy delegation of Turkmenistan led by Chairman, Turkmen Energo SPC, and Durdy Elyasov met Federal Minister for Power Omar Ayub Khan in Islamabad today.
During the meeting various aspects of Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan Transmission line were discussed.
Minister for Power said keeping in view the most competitive electricity prices offered by Turkmenistan, Pakistan is closely following the project and is ready to conduct its feasibilities.
Secretary Power Division explained to the participant’s different electricity transmission models. The delegation members informed Minister for Power that Turkmen government is ready to conduct feasibilities in this regard.
