OIC condemns Indian Army brutalities in Occupied Kashmir

ISLAMABAD - Organization of Islamic Cooperation has reiterated support for the people of Jammu and Kashmir in achieving their legitimate rights, including the right to self-determination.

The resolve was expressed by OIC Special Envoy on Jammu & Kashmir Ambassador Abdullah Al Alim, while chairing an emergency meeting of OIC Contact Group on Jammu and Kashmir held in Jeddah on Monday.

He emphasized that the conflict should be resolved in accordance with the aspiration of the Kashmiri people and UN Security Council resolutions.

The meeting was called in the context of recent killings of 20 innocent Kashmiri civilians at the hands of Indian occupation forces.

The Group condemned the recent killing of innocent Kashmiri civilians by the Indian occupation forces.

Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua led Pakistan’s delegation to and delegations from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Niger also participated in the meeting.
